What so many people fall into is the problem with both friends and religion... we tend to depend on these things for our happiness, but when a loss of faith comes around we feel as though we've lost a piece of ourselves.

Life is a stage, and you are the actor. Whether your audience consists of God and his angels or a best friend and some friendly acquaintances, don't put on the play for your audience, put it on because you love acting. Cause when the lights on your stage finally go dim, you may find that the seats are empty.

But if you put on the play for the sake of acting, for your own sake alone, for the experience and the fun of it, it won't matter how small your audience is. People can tell which actors act for the passion and which just act for the applause. But it's the passionate actors that make it the furthest.
